The chemical composition report of Blanco Alconera and Grey Marengo marble, carried out by the University of Alicante, confirms the mineralogical purity of these materials and their suitability for demanding projects.
This independent test validates the quality of the marbles from the María del Carmen Concession (VALEXMAR), reinforcing their attractiveness to investors interested in marble quarries for sale in Spain.
Blanco Alconera and Grey Marengo: mineralogical quality and superior strength
The analysis was commissioned from the Technical Research Services (STTI) of the University of Alicante and consisted of X-ray diffraction tests on Blanco Alconera and Grey Marengo marble samples.
The results show:
- Blanco Alconera: predominantly calcium carbonate (CaCO₃ ≈ 95 %), placing it among the purest white marbles in Europe.
- Grey Marengo: calcitic-dolomitic composition with CaMg(CO₃)₂ ≈ 22 %, providing higher resistance and density compared to the average ornamental marbles.
